Frequently Asked Questions

Is autism considered a disease?
Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition, not a temporary disease that can be cured with a single medication for all children.
Do all children with autism share the same symptoms?
No. Autism is a broad spectrum, and abilities, strengths, and support needs vary significantly from one child to another.
Does a speech delay mean a child has autism?
Not necessarily. Speech delays can stem from various developmental factors and require a proper assessment when concerns arise.
Can a child benefit from early intervention?
Yes. Early intervention supports skill development and growth, especially when services are tailored to the specific needs of the child and family.
Is parent involvement important in therapy?
Absolutely. Involving parents ensures that strategies and skills learned during center sessions are successfully carried over into the home and daily life.
Does every child require the same number of therapy sessions?
No. The number of sessions and types of services are determined based on an individual evaluation of the child's specific goals and needs.
Does the center provide official medical diagnoses?
We provide developmental evaluation, rehabilitation, and intervention services. When specialized medical diagnosis is required, we refer families to qualified medical authorities.
